Sofa dismantling. Where a sofa is suitable, we remove the feet, detachable arms or connecting sections, and separate modular sofas, then rebuild them in place.

Removing doors. Taking a door off its hinges often gives the extra few centimetres a sofa or wardrobe needs.

Deglazing windows. Rob has a professional glazing background, so where it's appropriate we can temporarily remove a window to bring a large sofa in, then refit it.

Recent sofa move: a Chesterfield into a front room
Wendy had moved to a very old house with narrow entrances and stairs, and her large Chesterfield sofa wouldn't go through the front. We deglazed a rear window and brought it into the front room, then refitted the glass.

Marketplace, eBay and shop collections
Bought something on Facebook Marketplace, eBay or Gumtree, or from a shop? We collect it and deliver it to your door. We regularly collect from IKEA, DFS, ScS, Bensons for Beds, Dunelm, Furniture Village and Next Home.
Before we collect, please confirm the item's condition, measurements and payment with the seller, and send us both postcodes, floor levels and the seller's collection time. We transport the item; the purchase is between you and the seller.
Dismantling and reassembly
We take apart and rebuild bed frames, ottoman beds, wardrobes, dining tables, desks, flat-pack furniture and suitable sofas. Arrange it when you book and send photos, so we can check each item is suitable. Glued, damaged or antique pieces sometimes aren't. If you have the original fixings or instructions, keep them with the item.
Moving appliances
We move washing machines, tumble dryers, fridges and freezers. Before we arrive, please drain and disconnect the washing machine (and fit transit bolts if you have them), and empty and defrost fridges and freezers. We don't do plumbing, electrical or gas work, so arrange disconnection and reconnection with a qualified person.

What if my sofa won't fit through the door?
Send us photos of the sofa and the route in. Depending on the sofa and the access, we can dismantle it, remove a door or temporarily deglaze a window. We quote any specialist work before we start.
Can you collect from Facebook Marketplace, eBay or Gumtree?
Yes. Agree the item and payment with the seller, then send us both postcodes, the floor levels and the collection time.
Can you move furniture upstairs or into a flat without a lift?
Yes, where the item, the staircase and the access allow it safely. Tell us the floor number and send photos of awkward turns.
Can you dismantle and reassemble furniture?
Yes, when arranged in advance. Tell us which items when you book and send photos so we can check they're suitable.
Can you move washing machines and fridges?
Yes. Please disconnect, drain and defrost appliances before we arrive. We don't do plumbing, electrical or gas work.
Do you remove and dispose of unwanted furniture?
No. We only move furniture between addresses, which is why our van stays clean for your belongings.
