Same Day Man and Van Birmingham

Need a van today? When our diary has a gap, our two-man team can often move you the same day or the next morning, from a single sofa to a small flat. Same-day moves are always subject to availability, so the sooner you get in touch, the better your chances.

How to get a same-day slot

The quickest way is WhatsApp. Send us:

Both postcodes: where it's coming from and going to
Photos of what's moving, or a quick list
Access details: floor numbers, lifts, stairs and parking at both ends
When you need us: a time window, or "as soon as possible"

We usually reply within the hour and will tell you straight away if we can fit you in today. If we can't, we'll offer the earliest slot we have, often the next morning.

What we can usually do at short notice

Single items and furniture: sofas, beds, wardrobes, appliances and Marketplace collections. These are the easiest to fit in on the day.
Studio and 1 bed flats: often possible the same day if we have a free half-day.
Small house moves: more likely next day than same day, as they need a longer slot.
Urgent moves: a tenancy ending early, a move-in date brought forward, or a collection from a care home or hospital.

The bigger the move, the more notice helps. For a full house, a few days' notice gives you the best choice of times.

Subject to availability

We're a two-person team with one van, so we can only take a same-day job when the diary allows. That means:

We can't guarantee a same-day slot, especially at weekends, month-end and in student moving weeks
Early in the day gives the best chance; requests after midday are more likely to go to the next morning
If a job takes longer than planned, we'll keep you updated on our arrival time

We'll always be honest about what we can do, rather than promise a time and miss it.

What's included, same day or not

Two experienced movers and a clean 3.5-tonne Luton van with electric tail lift
Protective blankets, ratchet straps and a heavy-duty sack truck
Goods in Transit, Public Liability and Hire and Reward insurance
Our Clean Van Guarantee: we never carry waste

How we price short-notice moves

We charge the same rates every day of the week, and same-day moves are priced the same way as any other. Local furniture moves start from £45. Send photos and postcodes and we'll give you a clear quote before we set off.
